editIt's good to see that the article has been internationalised. But are Mister Softee in the United States and in Hong Kong related, despite sharing the same name? — Instantnood 18:01, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Shouldn't the two companies be seperated on two pages?
editwell they are neither from the same company, nor the same country, they nearly have no releationship at all.
- Agreed, and done. Hong Kong Softee split off into Mister Softee (Hong Kong). SchuminWeb (Talk) 19:51, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
Royal Ice Cream?
editWhy is there a redirect from Royal Ice Cream? There's no mention of Royal in the article. What's the connection? KCinDC (talk) 03:58, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Robert Pronge
editsince wikipedia looks down on "trivia" sections, where would one put something about infamous mafia hitman Robert "mr. softee" Pronge? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.23.137.224 (talk) 06:13, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Jingle while parked
editI'm literally standing in Flushing Meadows park while a parked Mister Softee truck selling ice cream is playing its jingle on repeat. Was the regulation only for Manhattan or only for streets, or has Mayor de Blasio dismantled another legacy of the Bloomberg administration?

Jingle from Meyerbeer opera?
editI found this strange footnote attached to a citation about the noise control laws.
- The jingle's tune is from Giacomo Meyerbeer's ballet music for his opera "Roberto le Diable (1831).
There's no citation for this, and the tune is already attributed to "The Whistler and His Dog" in the article. I'm curious if there is any basis of research for this statement, or if some user was just adding their own personal thought here. - Rainwarrior (talk) 07:05, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
