Career Section Out-of-Date - Request for Edit
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
COI Disclaimer: I am employed as a PR professional in an agency setting. Jefferson National (Caplan's current place of business) is a client.
Caplan's main section lists a former employer and the Career section ends with his time at Aquiline Capital Partners. I would recommend the following factual and syntax edits:
- Editing "Since October, 2008, Caplan has advised" to "From October 2008 to 2010, Caplan served as a senior advisor with" http://www.wsj.com/articles/SB122455020245852489 (Citation reflects title when joining Aquiline).
- Syntax change "...New York and investing in financial services enterprises in industries including property and casualty insurance, banking, securities, asset management, life insurance and financial technology." to "New York, which invests in financial services enterprises and industries including property and casualty insurance, banking, securities, asset management, life insurance and financial technology." (Same citation as above).
- To reflect his current role, add: In 2010, Caplan become CEO of Jefferson National – a financial services firm that specializes in servicing registered investment advisors and their clients (Citation: http://www.greaterlouisville.com/needtoknow/default.aspx?id=9422&blogid=7771). In his time at Jefferson National, Caplan has overseen a management buyout (2012) from CNO Financial Group Inc. (then Conseco Inc.)
