The picture
editThe picture on this page is mildly disturbing...anyone else notice it's of her dead in her casket? As such I think it's tasteless and so I'm removing it...even though I'm sure someone will disagree with me. Mana Excalibur 22:40, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- No: I must admit it looks like that, but I believe it was taken a few months before her death, Arthur. Extremely sexy 14:54, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- Not dead - notice lifeful eyes and skin color. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.205.248.237 (talk) 00:24, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Either way, it looks disgusting. I literally have to put my hand over the picture every time I read the article. Can someone upload a better picture? Otherwise we should delete what he have. X4xSandmanx2X 02:57, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
- No, Wikipedia is not censored. And IMO she's not that disgusting really. --ざくら木 10:13, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- Comment: this is a picture of Mitoyo Kawate when she was still living. It's the only photo the AP released. However, there is another photo in the book "Wisdom of the World's Oldest People" by Jerry Friedman. That one is copyright, however.Ryoung122 13:26, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Wise up!
editKawate did not look bad for her age, think about it: what will you look like when you are 114, if you even get to it? For the people who think she does look very good, I think that they should look at some pictures of Maria do Couto Maia-Lopes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.136.237.89 (talk) 00:21, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes: that's true. Extremely sexy 15:33, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
