External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Mixed media. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20150509040105/http://www.kriegartstudio.com/nesting_cranes/susan_krieg_describes.htm to http://www.kriegartstudio.com/nesting_cranes/susan_krieg_describes.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
An editor has determined that the edit contains an error somewhere. Please follow the instructions below and mark the |checked=
to true
- If you have discovered URLs which were erroneously considered dead by the bot, you can report them with this tool.
- If you found an error with any archives or the URLs themselves, you can fix them with this tool.

Mixed Media in Quilting
editI noticed this category is missing another topic commonly found today in the Mixed Media (visual arts) which is sometimes called Fiber Arts or Mixed Media Quilting. I noticed the current page on Fiber Art discusses an older use of the term, not the manner in which it is most often used today. How would I go about adding this additional kind of visual art to this page and possibly also to the Fiber Art (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiber_art) page? - Anyone can edit Wikipedia. Just be sure to have sources for your edits. The Help at the lefthand side of the page includes introductions to editing. Pinkbeast (talk) 16:32, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you, @Pinkbeast. I found the relevant information and added an internal link to another WP article. In the subsequent article, I added other names for which this art work is called and referenced 2 books published on Amazon naming the art in the manner I referenced. I'm unclear whether this is considered a valid source. Would you mind checking if I did it correctly? Or should I open a talk question on that page and request assistance as I did here? --Bubbecraft (talk) 19:37, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- I think if you dig deeper in the Help you will find a great deal of advice on what is considered to be a valid source. Your edit looked good to me, though. Pinkbeast (talk) 23:26, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
