z is not defined
editThere are partial derivatives with respect to z, but z is not defined. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Espinozahg (talk • contribs) 21:00, 26 August 2015 (UTC)
- I attempted to solve the issue by adding clarification on z (more scientific, although it was intuitively clear for most readers with a slight background into the topic already before). 137.224.252.13 (talk) 15:11, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
Why the big V?
editThe expression for the fluctuating component of the z-component of the velocity had a GREAT BIG V, instead of the discrete, lower case w (which I have replaced it with).
If there was some reason for this, could the author add a note to the page.
Physical Intuition section, no figure?
editIn this section, there is reference to "the figure above", but there is none with temperature information.
