Mixtape or album?
editThe project is literally called "Mixtape Pluto", yet this page refers to it as Future's tenth studio album. The sources cited on this page are inconsistent on referring to it as an album or mixtape. Is there any official word from Future himself or the label confirming what type of project this is? - Considering the title it's ridiculous to call it an album rather than a mixtape. Definitely should be changed in my opinion. Kevingates4462 (talk) 05:27, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
- Billboard and Genius both called it explicitly a mixtape, Stereogum called it explicitly a studio album album, and I believe most other sources called it a “project”, which is an all-encompassing term.
- The official website calls it an “album” for physical releases, but that doesn’t actually make it a “studio album” per-se since DBR by Travis Scott, which is undeniably a mixtape, was also called an album with it’s physical releases.
- There isn’t much to go off of right now so I’d say leave it how it is until actual evidence of it being either comes out. KDoppenheimer (talk) 17:12, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
- Now that Rolling Stone and XXL have both called it a mixtape I feel like it should be listed here as a mixtape and not a studio album. KDoppenheimer (talk) 03:59, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
