While I too am not convinced (yet) of the subject's notability, I think this one needs a broader discussion, ie at AfD, before it is deleted. It is easy to find mentions, and to find (simple) sources for some if not most of the statements in the article. Perhaps importantly, it has been the subject of at least one academic study, here. I believe the collective, ie the playground, is explicitly referred to 7 times, and the character as the element tying the collective (again) together is referred to 3 or 4 more times as the collective element.
