I am Godfrey Kisela, from Katanga province in DRC, and I live in the UK. I had the opportunity of meeting governor Moise and his twin sisters at the age of 11 when they came to study in Kapolowe-Mission(near the mineral rich city of Likasi)in the late 70s. He was a great admirer of football and he was hardly seen alone. We were classmates as well, sitting side by side. He was very good at maths and I was very good at languages. It was a perfect match. His generosity is legendary. He brought me and other kids bars of chocolate and I gave him sweet potatoes in return. He is also a humble chap. To be acceptable among his peers who were so poor, Moise refused to wear expensive clothes and shoes. He appeared just like anybody else and that earned him love, admiration and respect. Whenever a teacher would ask to appoint somebody to be the classroom leader while away for a short period, Moise was the first to volunteer. He also organized football matches between different classrooms. And one could see in him a future leader. I was not surprised when I heard that Moise Katumbi Chapwe has been elected as the Governor of Katanga province. There is no doubt that under his God-given leadership, Katanga is going to be transformed and it will be one of the best places in the world. Gkisela 22:27, 2 December 2007 (UTC)May God bless him during his governorship and beyond! Has anyone got his telephone number or his e-mail address?Reply

"God-Given leadership" puuhhhleaase. This man is a fraud a wannebee Congolese just like Joseph Kabila they all wannebee's Congolese stealing from DRC and working under Kagame(president of Rwanda). There is a silent genocide going on in Congo and these two with their wifes and sisters are Very involved in that. Candace black (talk) 22:12, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Input requested for article updates

Hello to anyone who may be watching this page. I have spent the last few months researching and writing an updated and expanded version of this article.

My goals were to restructure the article and remove unnecessary section headings, incorporate better sourcing and formatted citations, and to add details to create a narrative of Mr. Katumbi's life and career.

I've placed my draft in my user space here for now, but, if editors prefer, I am happy to work through the article section by section, separating the discussions in new messages.

I prepared this draft working on behalf of Mr. Katumbi via PR firm DCI Group. I noticed in the edit history that there are editors here who have only edited this article. I want to be clear that I am not connected to them and do not have knowledge about any COIs they may have. I have advised my client that any contributors connected to the subject of this article should cease undisclosed editing of the entry.

As mentioned above, I was paid to research and write the draft as part of my work at Beutler Ink. I will not edit the article myself. Instead, I hope other editors can review this draft and offer suggestions for improvement. If it seems that this new draft is better than the version in place now, I'd ask that another editor take it live, replacing the current article. I appreciate any help others can provide! Thanks!   Done Draft looks like an improvement to me, so I've implemented it. I noticed you removed the image from the infobox, and I have re-added it: was the removal intentional? Sorry for the long delay in responding to this request, there is currently a 150-strong backlog on COI edit requests. —  crh 23  (Talk) 18:01, 29 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much for reviewing and making the changes, Crh23! Heatherer (talk) 14:43, 2 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Katumbi - Ebola

He was also accused of being behind the 2018 Équateur province Ebola virus outbreak.[35]

If you look what "State Afrique" writes else, I think it is satire. Something like the "Postillon". --Teploparovoz (talk) 15:57, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
