modern version

dont know about the modern version. the current supplyers sword [ http://www.windlass.com/p-262-army-nco-sword.aspx] (anybody know for sure?) that I saw looks nothing like the original. but the goofs will argue up and down thats what it is. just becouse some pentagon burucrat rubber stamped it. Windlass is not the official supplier of the sword, Brian. Although, to my understanding they usually aren't supplied to the NCOs, they must purchase them on their own dime and as long as they look correct, it doesn't matter the maker. The preferred and best quality version can be found at Marlow White (who makes high quality dress uniforms for the services).
