Merger proposal
editI propose to merge Gellner's theory of nationalism with Modernization theory (nationalism). Modernization Theory is a broader article where the specific theories of different modernist nationalist scholars can be covered. Snooganssnoogans (talk) 14:37, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose: Gellner's is one of the most influential theories of the origins and functions of nationalism, and is quite worthy of its own article. (It can be cross-linked at the Modernization theory article.) Pechmerle (talk) 08:49, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
- Çlosing' with no merge given the uncontested objection and no support. Klbrain (talk) 20:08, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
