Notable people
editI certainly have no wish to start an edit war, but I struggle to understand what is the criteria to determine the notability of a person in the list. Is it the existence of an article on English Wikipedia alone, or are there others? Can other language wikis be used to establish notability? If the original removal of most of the people on the list (some of which, granted, aren't very notable, but others arguably are more notable than some of those that are left on the list) was justified due to WP:WTAF, doesn't removing the redlinks suffice?
Honest questions, I'm trying to understand how the rules work, to avoid future misunderstandings. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.106.81.26 (talk) 18:40, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
