Three separate roads

The Nairobi Expressway is a separate road from the Nairobi–Mombasa Expressway, which is distinct from the existing Nairobi–Mombasa Road. This article is about the Nairobi—Mombasa Expressway, a 500 kilometres (311 mi), toll highway, under development by Bechtel Corporation, an American company.

Nairobi Expressway lies 100 percent within the city of Nairobi and measures only 50 kilometres (31 mi). It is meant to enable fast travel from the city center to JKIA, the largest civilian airport in Kenya. It is under development by a Chinese company.

In the next few days I will begin the process of de-merging the roads and start a separate article about Nairobi Expressway.

Article about Nairobi Expressway already exists as JKIA–Westlands Highway. Please change the name of this article to Nairobi-Mombasa Expressway!! Fsmatovu (talk)
