Duplication with Wikipedia monetary policy entry
editThe first two sections contain the same information as the Wikipedia entry on 'monetary policy'. Unless the concepts are endogenous to the Philippines, the entry should not include these parts. The two parts can be replaced with data on monetary aggregates. Randytuano (talk) 06:12, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

The definition for certain monetary aggregates is outdated
editThe definition for M4 has changed. According to the Philippines, M4 "consists of M3 plus transferable and other deposits in foreign currency."
Furthermore, the definition for M2 has changed. According to the Philippines, M2 "consists of M1 plus peso savings and time deposits."
The definition for M1 has also changed. According to the Philippines, M1 "consists of currency in circulation (or currency outside depository corporations) and peso demand deposits."
You can see the updated definitions on the Philippines central bank website here: See here: https://www.bsp.gov.ph/SitePages/AboutTheBank/Glossary.aspx Powerfuleditortobe (talk) 12:23, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
