I think it should be considered that this article is more about the hoax of the fossil being a spider, rather than being tentative about it's validity. Source 1 is confident in the fossil being painted on, and the further study is to distinguish what kind of crawfish the fossil is and not the validity of the spider. I think this article should reflect that better, instead of being formatted as actual science this article should be labled hoax and link to what they think the crawfish might be.
