I don't see the encyclopedic value of having a section on the cafe's menu. How is it remotely notable, for instance, that the cafe serves hamburgers? I'm inclined to remove the entire section. Other opinions are welcome. -Phoenixrod (talk) 08:10, 15 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

It does seem to be a silly fan activity, watching episodes, noting a dish which might appear just once and sticking it on the page. Its an activity i am guilty of..... fun for funs but not neccesarily encylopedic. 115.128.22.175 (talk) 13:19, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unless there are any menu items that are significant to an episode's plot (which I don't believe there are), the whole section should be removed. It's completely useless info, not fitting for an encyclopedia article. NipplesMeCool (talk) 00:33, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Employees

edit

I removed the reference to the waitress from the pilot, as they were actually at 'petes lunch bar' and not yet at monks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.128.22.175 (talk) 13:21, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reggie's

edit

The paragraph about Reggie's might need to be re-written from the point of view of its correlation to Monk's Cafe. I've never been a fan of the show, but if the Egg White Omelette and Big Salad are recurring topics, someone with more knowledge of the show could bring that out.

Citation needed

edit

The claim that the booth was auctioned for charity has no source. "Throughout the show's run, the chance to sit in the first booth — and thus be included in a Seinfeld scene — was auctioned off for charity." Neither of the 2 sources have any information on the first booth. Maybe someone knows of a source, otherwise it needs a citation needed or it should be removed completely. Name of the restaurant

edit

Why is it called Monk’s Cafe on Wikipedia and elsewhere when the sign says Monk’s Restaurant in the series? I’m not an expert, but maybe Monk’s Restaurant should be mentioned in the article? Ron Manke (talk) 15:51, 3 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
