Length of the canal
editThe figure given in the opening line appears to be incorrect. The section within the national park alone is around 32 miles, then there's the continuation via the Pontymoile Basin to Cwmbran and then south to its junction with the Crumlin Arm and the extension to Newport- the Canal and River Trust website at https://canalrivertrust.org.uk/enjoy-the-waterways/canal-and-river-network/monmouthshire-and-brecon-canal gives the currently navigable section as 35 miles in length. cheers Geopersona (talk) 20:31, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
