Remove Superfluous Dab's

edit

It strikes me as highly unlikely that someone might stumble over this Dab page in his quest for Montana Wines. Surely, if he's looking for Montana Wines, he will type in something like, well, Montana Wines. And since there isn't even a stub for Montana Wines (it's a redlink), I think it should be removed from the Dab page. --GraemeMcRae 15:30, 12 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Just a little note (I've fixed this), German Montana or Montana Cans is not also known as MTN. That is Spanish Montana, the original Montana paint, which doesn't have it's own page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.192.26.230 (talk) 18:16, 12 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Name

edit

I've noticed that there is no link to the use of Montana as a name. I know a few people by that name, and believe there should be a page for it. I will create one if anyone else agrees.

Well, 24.18.2.61 — Can I call you 24.18.2.61? — one of the criteria for including an article in Wikipedia is that it be about some "noteable" topic. I'm not sure a new page about Montana as a given name is noteable. (I'm pretty sure it isn't.) But a paragraph at the top of the Montana (disambiguation) page woulMontana is called the "Big Sky State".d probably be a good idea. Look at the Peter article to see an example in which a discussion of the first name seques into a disambiguation towards the bottom of the article. My advice: go for it! The worst that will happen is that someone will think your idea stinks and revert your change. Usually that doesn't happen, and my bet is that a short discussion on this page about the use of Montana as a first name will be well received. You'll never know unless you give it a try.
