Requested move
editPer manual of style guides for using contemporary names, I'm requesting we move territories created during or before the ACW to territory designation in page titles. BusterD (talk) 20:31, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose as at Talk:New Mexico in the American Civil War. I suggest we consolidate the discussion there; however, there seems limited substance here, and a merge may be desirable. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 19:42, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose State history textbooks include the occurrences on the land of the state when not actually not the state yet. Alice Crombie in her ACW Tour Guide book didn't have territories mentioned.--King Bedford I Seek his grace 04:05, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
