Restored material
editA bunch of unsourced original research was restored because it could be verified. So I will give it a few days to be sourced. If no work is done, I'll remove it again. BE——Critical__Talk 05:18, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Much of the article consists of simple facts that anyone can verify by reading a map (such as the fact that it terminates at Market Street). I'm having difficulty verifying a couple key claims, particularly the one that it is considered the "Wall Street of the West" and the timeline for the waterfront's movement eastward. I'd love some help here.--Stepheng3 (talk) 18:21, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Found you a ref - the 2nd one, it seems - for the "Wall Street..." name, and that book chapter might be useful for more info too. Not difficult to find - googled montgomery street "wall street of the west" and it turned up. PamD (talk) 19:31, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- In fact page 20 of the ref includes discussion of the old shore line, which might help your 2nd point. PamD (talk) 19:33, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, Pam. That's a fabulous source for anyone wanting to expand this article, but I don't see the info I'm missing. I'm starting to resent whoever created this articles (without citing sources) so I'd better take a break now. --Stepheng3 (talk) 19:58, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
