- " The crater was discovered in 1966." - this can be read as that it was first found then, when the body indicates that it was known as early as 1962. Recommend rephrasing this somehow to reflect that. Maybe "identified" instead of "discovered"?
- That's done. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 19:33, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
- " and further to Argentina runs 100–200 metres (330–660 ft) the crater" - you appear to be missing a word in here
- Recast this. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 19:33, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
- "The crater has been deemed one of the "most impressive" in the world" - recommend attributing the direct quote
- "In 2017, several Chilean organizations and the community of Peine petitioned the Chilean government to declare the site a historic monument. - This sentence contains what appears to be an incorrect link to a place in Germany
- Delinked. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 19:33, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
- In the second paragraph of the impact event section, three straight sentences all start with "The impact ..."; recommend varying the phrasing a bit
- Make sure the indicate the language for all of the non-English sources
- That's done. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 19:33, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
- I have a script that detects harv and sfn errors installed, and it is flagging that you have defined a source named Buhler1988 in the reflist but that it is not used
- Image licensing looks fine and the sources seem to be reliable.
Good work, placing on hold. Hog Farm Talk 19:04, 3 July 2021 (UTC)

- ... that Monturaqui crater (pictured) in Chile is threatened by human action? However, it does not count with any legal standing that may protect it, although there are a number of present and potential factors that threaten to damage it

- Hi Jo-Jo Eumerus, review follows; QPQ carried out; article promoted to GA on 3 July; article is well written and cited inline to reliable sources throughout; I can't access many of the sources but a spotcheck found no issues with overly close paraphrasing; hook fact is interesting, mentioned in the article and is cited to a reliable source; AGF that subscription-only source supports the hook; image is OK, maybe a bit wide, and freely licensed. Great article, just one note that you may want to covert one of the reference titles (Millennium Ecosystem Assessment) from all caps to title case - Dumelow (talk) 10:50, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
