Hey, what happened to the "nickname for Unification Church members" article? I wanted to create a disambiguating page, but there's nothing to disamb. User:Ed Poor
Why isn't this listed (0 the above) in the "See also" section? --Ludvikus (talk) 23:09, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

No need - there is already the main entry for that Moonie in the main section; if people want information on those Moonies, they'd click on that article, and for further information on the blue links within that article. Boleyn2 (talk) 08:10, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Moonie (disambiguation) → Moonie — - [This disambiguation page should be the page for the word "Moonie" since it has several meanings. "Moonies" should continue to redirect to Moonie (Unification Church). --Northwestgnome (talk) 23:25, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose. Moonie (Unification Church) should be moved back to Moonie, where it was until 27 September (it was moved first to Moonies, then Moonie (term), then Moonie (Unification Church)). There is no other use of Moonie as an article title on WP except Moonie, Queensland, which gets <100 hits per month. Station1 (talk) 03:55, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
- There is also Lewis Moonie, Baron Moonie. Northwestgnome (talk) 05:26, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
- But it's not possible that his article would be titled simply Moonie, and even if it were, he gets even fewer views than the Queensland town. Station1 (talk) 05:31, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm happy to support the move/redirect to the church. Boleyn2 (talk) 06:52, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
- That was were it was going through AfD until the article was "rescued." Borock (talk) 15:05, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose, this page should remain where it is, as a disambiguation page. Moonie (Unification Church) should also stay where it is, as it deals with followers of Sun Myung Moon and members of the Unification Church, and not all other aspects or applications of the term. As it appears that Moonie (Unification Church) is not going to be moved to Moonie, and an article title can not redirect to its own disambiguator, I'm moving the disambig page back to the base title. bd2412 T 00:03, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
- Since the result of the discussion was not to do that, I've pointed Moonie to Moonie (Unification Church) instead, which seems to be opposed by only one of the above editors. (Besides, this talk page was orphaned in the move.) Station1 (talk) 10:56, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
