I created this page so that we'd have some Wiki information on the "Moonlight Maze" operation. Since there is some question as to the validity of concerns regarding Moonlight Maze, I thought it'd be good to have a small article about it with links to news articles with differing views on it. " Moonlight Maze intrusion into DoD computer systems. June 1998-February 1999. 19 unclassified Air Force systems at Wright Patterson AFB, OH, and elsewhere in the U.S. were affected, and the Air Force claimed that "data equivalent to a stack of printed copier paper three times the height of the Washington Monument" was stolen. Reportedly, the U.S. lodged a formal protest with the Russian government in 2000 after investigators from the FBI and DoD computer forensic laboratory determined their storm cloud originated from seven Russian internet addresses." -Code Names —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4twenty42o (talkcontribs) 19:16, 31 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
