Synagogues
editthe article has an extensive list of Moorish revival theatres, so I assume that it is appropriate to put us a list of Moorish revival synagogues, some of which are tuly over-the-top confections of arches, gilding and architectural imagination. "Revival"?
editThere's no question of Moorish details being "revived" any more than Chinoiserie is a "Chinese Revival". A title that hasn't been thought through. --Wetman (talk) 21:51, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Proposals
editConsidering there’s only one entry under §India (the Hyderabad location), perhaps it should be transferred to larger §Around the world section? I’m on mobile, so it’s a tad difficult for me. Also, has anybody considered creating a separate article for houses of worship in the Moorish Revival style (Shriner temples, churches, and synagogues alike)? Can anyone identify this example, which sounds like it could be worth citation here, mentioned by Warren Hunting Smith in his Architecture in English Fiction, p 189: "An American lady modelled [sic] her house upon descriptions of the Alhambra in Bulwer-Lytton's Leila, so that this florid architectural setting has not been without effect"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.17.176.73 (talk) 10:57, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
