[Copied from Talk:Craigour to comply with merger formatting on 20 March 2021]
I live in Craigour myself and feel that this article would be better served (and its notability issue resolved) by merging with its parent suburb. Craigour is primarily a quiet residential area and there is little more that can be added that isn't already here. I have added a few refs to Craigour which at least assert its existence for GNG purposes. There is certainly a physical overlap between the two areas, and I can see some reports use the names interchangeably. I'm not a local and have no strong feelings on whether they should be merged, Gazetter for Scotland has them separate but like here, they're pretty basic entries, and in fact Moredun's image on there is the tower blocks which I would consider to be in Craigour, so that muddies the waters further. I will try to get the attention of some locals for their opinion via WP:SCOTLAND as I don't think many will see this otherwise. Crowsus (talk) 10:47, 20 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Support the merge and agree that Craigour would be better positioned as a resident suburb of Moredun which is the case re local knowledge, addresses, maps, etc. LordHarris21:59, 16 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
