Poisonous or venomous?
editIf the fangs function as hypodermic needles, then surely they are venomous, rather than poisonous? This also making this the only venomous crustacean (rather than poisonous). Bazza (talk) 11:49, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- In fact, the NatGeog reference article uses venomous, so I'm being bold and changing the text now. Bazza (talk) 11:51, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- Good thought. I changed one back to "poisonous fangs" though, as stated in the refs, but I think everything else is fine. ZooFari 23:28, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- The refs are referring to a toxin which is injected by means of fangs, hence "venomous" is correct. 73.223.96.73 (talk) 23:15, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
