Hannachiever07, The article says that, "Morong High School in Morong, Rizal was the first high school in the Philippines to be established outside the provincial capital." Just a question, how about the Laguna High School which was established in Pagsanjan in the early 1900s and housed at the Pagsanjan Municipal Hall? You can check the marker here. Bay was Laguna's first capital until 1688. After this, Pagsanjan served as capital of Laguna until 1858. From that year onwards, it was Santa Cruz. So, the Laguna High School established in the early 1900s was the first high school established outside the provincial capital since at that time, the capital of Laguna was Santa Cruz?
