Lieutenant - Captain

edit

Currently the article says this

"... commissioned with the rank of Lieutenant in the Welsh Guards; he would eventually reach the rank of Captain ...."

But from Lieutenant to Captain in the British Army is a single promotion, and hardly worth mentioning. Though he was possibly commissioned originally as a 2nd Lieutenant. Perhaps someone who knows this better than me could consider a revision. Thomas Peardew (talk) 15:59, 12 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Minister without Portfolio succession box

edit

I have changed the dates in this for the next Minister without portfolio (United Kingdom) in the succession box as they were wrongly down as 1968-1969 (ie before Baron Aberdare held the office!) and the correct dates for David Young, Baron Young of Graffham are 1984-1985.
