It's my understanding that a hyperboloid is, by definition, comprised of straight lines running from edge to edge, which form curved planes. (Cf. Shukhov Tower in Polibino) From even a casual inspection of the Octod Tower's frame, it is clearly comprised of relatively short struts that form octagonal rings in plan, and bracing hexagons in elevation. There are no curved planes. If I'm mistaken, I would appreciate it if someone could explain how.
