More info
[edit]Hey Is there anyone that's good at wikipedia that is planning on adding more info about the album/release? They have said much about this album. Like the info that's on "Generation Rx": Background, composition, release and reception? I know some info is too early to write, but background, production and composition is possible. I am just asking because those or the one that have written for previous album might be planning on this also? 2A01:799:453:D400:6D7F:385C:C493:142E (talk) 13:13, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
- Someone that goes around and updates here have read this? If you dont want to take the time to write everything, I could write it and send it to the person that could post the info on the page. Madsgismerica (talk) 07:59, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
Genre and album history etc
[edit]Regarding what genre the album is I see there is alot of "back and forth" here on edits and revisions. In general its a blend of genres, but the Punk music page "Punktastic" write in their review about it being Pop-punk. "Whilethehornblows" review echos that but also mentions the other genres; emo, skate punk, and synth-punk (Bodies). I still havent learned to add sources so I put them here and hope someone sees it and can add them. If not I am gonna learn it and will do it asap but asap can be next week or new years eve. Here is the link to Punktastics review: https://www.punktastic.com/album-reviews/good-charlotte-motel-du-cap/
And here is the link to Whenthehornblows Review: https://whenthehornblows.com/content/2025/8/7/album-review-good-charlotte-motel-du-cap
I am gonna sit down and write all the background, promo, production, release and critics reception texts. Since no one else does it I will step up. I am a long time Good Charlotte fan (Since 2004) and I know where to find all interviews done and reviews made. Madsgismerica (talk) 16:45, 5 September 2025 (UTC)
- I see pop-punk have been removed again. Does anyone actually check these "talk" pages? I think I made it pretty clear that its first and foremost a pop-punk album with the sources I put here. Madsgismerica (talk) 20:15, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
