Thank you and logo request
editHello, thank you to User:Devonian Wombat for reviewing and editing my draft to accept it as a new Wikipedia article. Now that the page is live, I have a small request to make: can the logo be added to the infobox?
I've uploaded the logo here under fair use, so I believe it needs to be added fairly quickly... otherwise it will be deleted: File:Mother Cabrini Health Foundation logo.jpg
I am the Director of Communications for Mother Cabrini Health Foundation and have a conflict of interest. I will only make requests if any updates are needed here, rather than making direct edits. Bvar on Wiki (talk) 19:25, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you User:Devonian Wombat for adding the logo. There's one small nit I wanted to raise as a quick follow-up request. I see that you'd added the category "Religious organizations based in the United States". Although this is a reasonable assumption based on our name etc., the Foundation is not legally a religious organization. There are multiple ways to legally define a religious organization in New York State, and we meet none of these criteria. We give many grants to organizations unaffiliated with any religious organization, and the religious organizations we do give grants to are solely for health-related programs and span all faiths. I’m looking at other organizations in that category, and we really don’t fit there. Could this category be removed? Thanks for your thoughts, Bvar on Wiki (talk) 16:06, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you again User:Devonian Wombat, I appreciate your help and responsiveness. Bvar on Wiki (talk) 19:31, 2 August 2021 (UTC)

editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hello, I have a small request to update the article with a mention of the Foundation's latest round of annual grant giving. Can the following be added to the end of History?
- As of February 2022, the foundation had awarded a total of $470 million in grants since it was established. Its year end 2021 grants provided $140 million for approximately 450 recipients.[1] The foundation was the largest private donor for 45% of the programs it funded in the 2021 grants, and around 50% of the grants were $250,000 or more.[2]
I am the Director of Communications for Mother Cabrini Health Foundation and have a conflict of interest. I will only make requests if any updates are needed here, rather than making direct edits. User:Devonian Wombat, if you're still watching this page, would you be able to help? Thanks, Bvar on Wiki (talk) 18:50, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Board member and new programs request
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hello, I have a request for two recent updates covered in the media to be added to this article.
Can Marcos Crespo's appointment to the foundation's board be added at the end of Organization?
- Marcos Crespo was appointed to the organization's board of directors in June 2022.[1]
Can the organization's food security program and healthcare workforce development study be added at the end of History?
- In 2022, the Foundation provided $2 million in funding for FoodMap NY, a project focused on long-term solutions for food insecurity, including support for farmers in the New York state.[2] The organization also supported a study by New York healthcare associations into workforce issues in mid-2022, to help identify ways to address healthcare workforce issues.[3][4]

I will only use requests for any updates needed for this article, to avoid making direct edits. User:Devonian Wombat, thanks for your help on previous updates, would you be able to review this request? Thanks, Bvar on Wiki (talk) 15:52, 31 August 2022 (UTC)

Hello, I am back again with a short request following the Foundation's latest round of annual grant giving. Can the following details be added to the end of History?
In January 2023, the Foundation announced that it had committed $165 million in grants to approximately 538 programs and organizations in New York,[1] focused on areas including mental health services, dental care, healthcare worker training and recruitment,[2] and long-term care for the elderly and disabled individuals.[3] In total, the foundation had provided $635 million in grants between 2019 and 2023.[4]
I am the Director of Communications for Mother Cabrini Health Foundation and have a conflict of interest. I will only use requests for any updates needed for this article, to avoid making direct edits. User:Storchy or User:Devonian Wombat, as you've helped on my previous requests (thanks again!) would you be able to review this one? Thanks, Bvar on Wiki (talk) 14:00, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
- My request above has been reviewed and implemented. I appreciate your help again, User:Devonian Wombat. Thanks, Bvar on Wiki (talk) 03:54, 18 February 2023 (UTC)

End of year 2023 grants request
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hi, I'm Jamila and as the Communications Officer at Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, I'm taking over from Bob (whose posts you'll see above) in making requests for this Wikipedia article. Due to my conflict of interest, I will not edit the page and will use requests to ask for updates. I've learned a lot from Bob about the Wikipedia community and hope you'll bear with me as I continue to learn and make my first foray in offering a request.
Since the Foundation recently announced its annual grant giving, and there's been a decent amount of media coverage, I have a small update for editors to review to add to the History.
- The Foundation awarded a total of $172 million to 514 grantees in its year-end 2023 grant giving.[1] Approximately half of the grants continued support for grantees from previous years.[2] From 2019 to 2024, the foundation had awarded 2,700 grants for a total of approximately $800 million.[2] The grants focused on programs aiming to improve health equity,[3] including programs for asylum seekers and other immigrants, individuals dealing with addiction or mental health needs, and children.[4]
- User:Storchy and User:Devonian Wombat, you've both been so helpful to my colleague, Bob in the past, are you able to review this request? MCHFJamila (talk) 21:16, 23 February 2024 (UTC)

- @MCHFJamila: It's probably not necessary to ping Storchy since they were blocked in late 2022, and can't implement your requests. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 17:29, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, User:ARandomName123! I hadn't realized Storchy was blocked when I posted that previous note and I'll not be pinging them in future, thanks for making sure I was aware of that. MCHFJamila (talk) 19:15, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
