Name?
editWhile this almost 100-year old source[1] describes a Mount Northrop, I can't find any contemporary source which names it. Perhaps Mount Northrop has been renamed?– Gilliam (talk) 06:09, 18 July 2015 (UTC)
- Just for a kick I've submitted a request to the U.S. Board on Geographic Names for this. I found a few references to the name and location from back in the late 1800s/early 1900s but it seems to have disappeared after that. I'll post here if I get a response. Warren Upham's book clearly is a reliable and independent secondary source. The age of a source is no more relevant to its existence than the age of a mountain. Here, there is a source, and no sources are given to dispute the name. Personal suspicion is not evidence. Kablammo (talk) 09:51, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
