editCould we be told the names of the other four sacred mountains please? --Wetman 06:56, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
The Taoist 5 are: Heng shan bei, Shanxi (north) Hua shan, Shanxi (west), Tai shan, Shandong (east) and Heng shan nan, Hunan (south). Song shan, Henan, is the central mountain. There are also 4 Buddhist sacred mountains. Fire Star 06:38, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Setbacks under Mao
editThis section is quite poorly written, with statements that are highly opinionated (like the assertion that Mao would have been overthrown for carrying out the Cultural Revolution if he hadn't died). It also doesn't seem relevant at all to the development of Mount Song, but instead goes into a lot of detail about Maoist politics and non-mountain related policies. Does anyone else agree that this section should be cut down significantly? F1anders (talk) 22:45, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
