Well, someone took out the origin of the "legend". Funny how often we don't want to hear the truth.

Conflict of Interest Question
editI understand that everyone wants to be famous, and not everyone should have a link to their web site put on Wikipedia just to satisfy their vanity; the recent deletion of a trip report as an external link is a good example of this. However, it's also possible that something someone has done would be a worthwhile addition to Wikipedia. Since conflicts of interest can obscure good judgement, though, and since I have limited experience on Wikipedia, I thought I should put on a talk page a query about whether the following web site provides enough worthwhile information to be included as an external link, or whether that's a conflict of interest that's coloring my judgment (seeing as I made the page in question): http://user.xmission.com/~wake/timp.html Pdw (talk) 21:04, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
