Best sources to establish notability

edit

To the reviewers,

The WP:THREE best sources to establish notability for these articles of creation are as follows:

  • Reference 6 is a masters' thesis written by a student at Stanford University. It covers the school in depth, including an overview of the school's history, academics, facilities, etc... It's written by a Stanford student who (to my knowledge) did not have any special affiliation with the school prior to his masters thesis project.
  • References 14 and 15 are newspaper articles written about a fire that burned the school's chapel. The school had purchased the building from the Adventist church that used to use that site, and the newspaper articles discuss how that specific building was a local landmark.
  • References 18-22 are various newspaper articles in the The Mercury News written about the school's basketball team, and its interaction with other local private schools. Jonathan M Wheeler (talk) 19:56, 24 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for this summary. This is not powerful evidence of notability but we accept articles here at WP:AFC if they are WP:LIKELY to survive a deletion discussion and I'd say the odds about even here. I'll accept and we'll see what happens. Jonathan M Wheeler, I note that creating this draft is your only work, thus far, on Wikipedia. Please read WP:COIDISCLOSE and take any necessary action requested there. ~Kvng (talk) 15:59, 25 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Kvng. I am related to a former employee of this school. I think that’s the closest that I come to a conflict of interest. Jonathan M Wheeler (talk) 17:31, 25 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
