Removal of Info on Amenities/Activities

Hi,

Why the removal of information on local bars, shops, and activities. Surely this is a place to learn about Moycullen. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the point of an article about a place not to inform people about that place?

Parish or village

Two of the schools listed are over 10km from each other. That's large for a parish, huge for a village. The bulk of the article is about townlands; townlands pertain to a parish, not to a village. I get three results from Google for "civil parish of moycullen" or "moycullen civil parish" (two of them from genealogy sites), and plenty of results for "village of moycullen" or "moycullen village". Reply. It's not about Google hits, it's about article content. I wrote virtually none of it. If you want it to be about a hamlet, that's OK by me. If you want to create Moycullen (Catholic parish), be my guest. So that will leave us with 3 articles. Does Moycullen deserve 3? Probably not. The main focus in most of these articles is the town/village with some reference to the Parish. Like most of the famous people or places of interest will be from the parish/area not necessarily within the confines of the town/village. Finnegas (talk) 23:07, 22 October 2018 (UTC)

In fact, I like to know what kind of info you want to add to the article about the civil parish. They only thing that I know that is specific related to civil parishes is the land registration. The Banner talk 10:05, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
