Mr. Bunny Rabbit → Bunny Rabbit – The Captain never called this character "Mr" since she was clearly female. Men did not wear sequined cats eye glasses in 1955 https://americanhistory.si.edu/collections/search/object/nmah_1030612 172.56.22.228 (talk) 19:06, 7 August 2022 (UTC) ==

- Support deletion of the honorific "Mr." which was indeed an inseparable part of the name of another Captain Kangaroo character, "Mr. Moose", but it was not part of this character's name. Since "Bunny Rabbit" already redirects to "Rabbit", I suggest the nomination should appear as Mr. Bunny Rabbit → Bunny Rabbit (puppet) or as Mr. Bunny Rabbit → Bunny Rabbit (Captain Kangaroo). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 19:57, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose as written. I have no knowledge of this show, but if it is moved it shouldn't just be to Bunny Rabbit, as it is clearly not the primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:48, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
- Will you support a "Bunny Rabbit" disambiguation page [there are quite a few related topics] and rename this one "Bunny Rabbit (Captain Kangaroo)".
- The character was NOT a Mr. so this MUST be changed somehow. Also, "Bunny Rabbit (puppet)" already redirects to the Captain Kangaroo entry, not here.
- I'm not logged in, so please fix the gender mistake. 172.56.23.22 (talk) 00:23, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
- Weak oppose. Rabbits didn't wear cat-eye glasses in 1955, either; it seems like insufficient evidence to make a change. Here are some reliable sources using "Mr. Bunny Rabbit": Captain Kangaroo obit from SFGate, Cosmo Allegretti obit from Christian Science Monitor, report on puppets from NPR Morning Edition. - Bunny Rabbit DID wear glasses, and no one EVER said "Mr" Bunny Rabbit. NEVER EVER EVER.
