Mudcrutch Album in '08
editSo this may be happening. Great, based on my name you can tell I would love it. But posting anonymous tips with NO references is not the way to add content to Wikipedia. - Mudcrutch
- Looks like we got some info from a newspaper, nice. :) -Mudcrutch
Live album
editAnybody know where I can get more info on that live thing--Feeling free (talk) 20:21, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
Reformation year
editIt seems contradictory to me to list the band's second activity date as "2007-present" in the infobox and refer to a "2008 reunion" in the body of the article, hence my changing it. Colinclarksmith (talk) 00:10, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- And the album was recorded in 2007... but the chapter heading is "2008 return," so I see where you're coming from. Fair enough. Colinclarksmith (talk) 00:12, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
"On November 11, 2008 a live EP titled Extended Play Live was released. All the tracks were recorded live in April 2008. On the same day American music channel VH1 Classic broadcast a documentary about the band." (Emphasis added) To which date does "on the same day" refer? November 2008 or April 2008?Bayowolf (talk) 15:54, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
Jim Lenahan
editIn the personnel section, the article lists Jim Lenahan as the lead vocalist, although the prose of the article never mentions him at all. Why is this? When did he leave the band? What happened to him? Being the lead vocalist, we should at least mention him at some point. Dismas|(talk) 01:17, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
- Also, there's no source on Lenahan. Where is this info coming from? This could be an act of vandalism.... unless someone can source this, mentions of Lenahan should be deleted.70.27.2.187 (talk) 03:36, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
- Jim Lenahan quit as lead vocalist and became stage manager for the band, he has been and might still be The Heartbreakers lighting designer http://jlpd.com/. Just saw this in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runnin'_Down_a_Dream. I bet there existst even better sources for this--217.14.5.140 (talk) 22:23, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Mudcrutch disbanded
editThe entry has been edited to show all members as 'former members' and they may very well totally disband due to Tom Petty's death, but as of the time of this writing, this has not been officially announced or definitively established. The entry should not be altered based on assumptions. Clearly 'Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' died with Petty, but Mudcrutch is a different situation. (Sellpink (talk) 17:52, 5 October 2017 (UTC))
