reach method

edit

I could not find any explanations as to what "reach method" is supposed to mean in the context of music. The given sources do not seem to contain any hint to the actual text and are, as such, useless. This makes this portion of the article untraceable, while the use of unknown (supposedly technical) terms makes it incomprehensible. Maybe the author could be more precise concerning the actual sources. Thanks. 194.121.90.163 (talk) 10:08, 23 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Confusing section

edit

The seven dastgah of Persian may be used in music of Qafqaz but is not considered as "mugham". I have removed that section as it was confusing, unsourced (wp:IRRELEVANT no source on direct relationship and relevance and a source was a radio from baku whose website was "not found"). Xashaiar (talk) 13:59, 24 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

on a second thought, I restored the section. The editors concerned should bring reliable sources. The section is not what most reliable sources (such as Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians) confirm. Xashaiar (talk) 15:53, 24 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think sources are reliable and easily written. I don't know what do you find problematic.--NovaSkola (talk) 12:24, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

File:Mugham Festival 2008.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

edit
An image used in this article, File:Mugham Festival 2008.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Recent disruptions

Mfikriansori please state your claim clearly here before continuing to revert. Archives908 (talk) 02:12, 22 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I just make a new section. Please take a look. I don't claim anything, but simply reverted an edit by Əfşar Əliyev which was done without consensus. He clearly changed Shusha to Shushi, but I don't see you reverted his edit or condemn some of his clear discriminatory words. Mfikriansori (talk) 02:14, 22 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Changing back Shushi to Shusha

edit

Dear Archives908, I don't know why you perceive my latest edit on Mugham article as disruptive. Shusha is the common name of the city, which referred by Armenians as Shushi. Shusha and Shushi are used simultaneously on articles related to Artsakh. But this article is about one of Azerbaijani culture, and neutral common name like Shusha is better.

Əfşar Əliyev deliberately change Shusha to Shushi, on 02:36 of 12 April 2022, and as you can see here [[1]], he didn't seek for consensus. But now you blaming me as disrupted and ask me to reach consensus? I simply reverted the name back to Shusha. Not only Shusha changed to Shushi, this Əfşar Əliyev guy also change this sentence "In Azerbaijan, an estimated 250 to 300 mouflons are found in the [[Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic]" into this "In so-called Azerbaijan, an estimated 250 to 300 mouflons are found in the Nakhijevan Autonomous Republic" as you can see through this link [[2]]. However however I yet to see your condemnation and reversion of his discriminatory edits.

For simple stuff like changing back Shushi to Shusha, which at the very first was changed without consensus by Əfşar Əliyev, I don't think I need a consensus. Mfikriansori (talk) 02:13, 22 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
