editRemoving the Notability warning. This does indeed fit into one of the proposed notability guides: Wikipedia:Notability (software) and is notable as it is included in most every GNU-Linux operating system distribution and is widely considered a "Standard" graphing tool for unices (as well as other OS groups as noted in the article). - MRTG came up on a Network+ (low level Networking) certification pretest that I am taking, which helps demonstrate that it is a notable standard tool for a networking professional. Royalbroil T : C 22:27, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Mac OS or Mac OS X?
editThe article says Mac OS, but this is not the same as Mac OS X. Mac OS X is Unix and comes with Perl, so I'd expect that MRTG could be made to work. I believe that Perl is available for Mac OS also, so perhaps it could be made to work there also. MRTG website doesn't seem to make specific mention of either OS, but does have links for Unix, so presumably Mac OS X would be under this umbrella.
Anyway, it needs citations and clarification. 202.44.165.81 (talk) 01:45, 10 December 2012 (UTC)
