I removed it. There is nothing obvious to me. I found this if anyone wants to work it in.

Multiplex Class Action On 18 December 2006 Maurice Blackburn Cashman commenced a class action against Multiplex Limited and Multiplex Funds Management Limited (collectively “Multiplex”) in the Victorian Registry of the Federal Court. The proceeding is brought by P Dawson Nominees Pty Ltd on its own behalf and on behalf of all securityholders who purchased or acquired an interest in Multiplex securities during the period 2 August 2004 and 30 May 2005 and who had entered into a Funding Agreement as at the date of issue. Current estimates of the total claim value are between $100 and $150 million.

I suppose a company this size would have many. Notable class actions? Fred 15:05, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Also; From wibble news.com.au

GIANT construction company Multiplex is the latest target in the takeover frenzy engulfing the stock market.

Shares in the $4 billion company, which has endured a torrid run since listing on the stock market in 2003, leapt 17per cent after it confirmed yesterday an approach from an unnamed predator.

A deal would deliver the founding Roberts family more than $1 billion for their 25 per cent stake and end a brief life as a listed company that was marked by the ruinous delays to its Wembley Stadium project in London.

Contradiction: Founded 1962, within forty years was listed, in 2003.

edit

From the article: "It was founded in 1962 [...] Within forty years it was listed on the stock exchange [...] In December 2003, it listed on the Australian Stock Exchange." These contradict each other. Was it "within forty years", or was it in 2003, ie 41 years after 1962? 82.9.171.127 (talk) 12:34, 21 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Brookfield Multiplex rebranded to Multiplex in September 2016. Article reflects this EXCEPT for the title which still says Brookfield Multiplex and needs to change to Multiplex. http://www.multiplex.global/multiplex-rebrand/ 203.33.107.2 (talk) 22:39, 12 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Multiplex is a "disambiguation" page pointing to several different articles. I have moved the page to Multiplex (company), leaving a redirect from the old title, and fixed the resulting double-redirects. JohnCD (talk) 12:19, 27 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Undoing Redirect

edit

In September 2016 a user requested that the name of the article "Brookfield Multiplex" be changed to "Multiplex (company)", please see above discussion, dated October 12, 2016. It has been six weeks and the change still has not been realized. If someone will explain to me how to do this, I will do it myself. The reason this is not a simple "redirect" is because in 2009 the name already changed from Multiplex (company) to Brookfield Multiplex, and now, due to re-branding, the company has changed its name back. The article reflects this, and only the name remains to be changed. I am worried about having a double redirect, which I know is not allowed. Thanks so much for a speedy response.Dimitri Karras (talk) 11:55, 27 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Done, see under "Update required" above. JohnCD (talk) 12:23, 27 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Safety

I worked one day at Elms Vauxhall. I was on the 48th floor at the winding down of the shift. I was on my own because apparently as a contractor my shift finished later. So I began looking round and I couldn't find an escape route also no emergency phone set up to call the lifts incase a person collapsed no defribulators anywhere that I could see. In the lifts no emergency phone either. But at the induction a guy told us we would be kicked of site if our mobiles were not tethered to us! And yet there was no communication set up in the building to contact an office or the ground. I have worked on aircraft and ships but this job made me feel so insecure I never went back. 82.43.56.157 (talk) 12:17, 16 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
