Accent

The word "accent" seems to be used incorrectly in this article. The CORPUS OF GLOBAL WEB-BASED ENGLISH (GloWbE) (20 COUNTRIES; 1.9 BILLION WORDS; http://corpus.byu.edu/) finds no usage such as seen here in its top 100 usages. All of these actually textual examples from around the world use the word "accent" to mean a peculiar pronunciation which differs from that of the "standard", e.g. "He spoke English with a Canadian accent." I do not think this article means that Mufti wrote with a vocal pronunciation which differs from the norm. He wrote in his native Urdu, and was deeply influenced by Qudrat Ullah Shahab who also wrote in Urdu. From the context of the article I think the word wanted is "voice" which can also be expressed by the phrase "point of view"; or "accent" could mean here "unique personal way of expressing ideas." But in either case "accent" is not the word to use here. I do not want ot get into a reversion war, so if you disagree could you please explain why? Thanks. This is fairly good artical on the author.However it needs improvement by adding his photo and few other detail about his writings.
