Murad Kajlayev → Murad Kazhlayev – His name is more commonly transliterated as "Murad Kazhlayev" (the letter ж to be transliterated as 'zh'); in addition, English Wikipedia uses WP:RUROM spelling conventions based on the BGN/PCGN romanization of Russian as the base standard for romanizing Russian names. 85.206.172.23 (talk) 09:22, 14 October 2024 (UTC)— Relisting early so banner stays up for at least seven days per WP:RMCI. - Support replacement of "j" with "zh", but would suggest that the nomination should appear as Murad Kajlayev → Murad Kazhlaev per the form used on the English-language covers of his recordings. As a prominent example of revised transliteration that uses "ev" instead of "yev", is the current English usage Dostoevsky, which used to be transliterated into English as Dostoyevsky. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 03:19, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
