Russell Farris is my oldest brother. And he wasn't the one who told police, the Levine's were. After our mom called them telling them what my brother told her. My brother went through with recording their conversations because he was facing Att.1st Degr. Homicide charges as a habitual offender (although theres no 3 strike law here in Nashville) the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department has had run ins with my brother as early as 1990. From all types of charges, Driv. Susp. Licence, Armed Robbery, Grand Theft Auto, Agg. Assault, Att. Homicide, Drug Paraph., Poss. Of Cocaine, Theft. Assault w Deadly Weapon. I mean all kinds of shit. So they know my brother well. He was facing life in prison so why not get another chance especially on lawyer who killed the mother of his kids. My brother got out for a bit then had a standoff with the police for robbery charges at a Kings Inn near Interstate Drive/Jefferson Bridge. He got out again and stayed out about two years and is back in prison doing 18 years for Agg. Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, Kidnapping, Impersonating a Police Officer and Manuf/Delivery of Marijuana 2601:483:5A80:2040:29FC:C563:AE0B:6908 (talk) 10:23, 31 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

That’s all interesting to know, and I don’t doubt you, but it’s not yet reflected in any of the sources I used when writing the article a few years back.
I’m actually not surprised … maybe the Nashville-Davidson PD wanted to minimize the Levines’ involvement given that they had arguable animus against Perry. Or maybe some reporter got mixed up … it’s a complicated chain of communication. Daniel Case (talk) 00:40, 1 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
