Murry gave Brian some suggestions regarding the chorus of "Break Away" as to what would work in his opinion and what would not. That is why he is credited. The song is Brian's, not Murry's.

Murry wrote the lyrics, as "Reggie Dunbar". This has been established for decades. Andrew G. Doe (talk) 08:01, 27 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Funeral?

edit

Brian Wilson claims to have attended his father's funeral when Howard Stern interviewed him in 1998. The source claiming otherwise is a nonexistent Google Cache entry.

In the Stern Interview, Brian appears to merely say what Stern want's him to say. Much earlier footage of Brian from mid 1970s has him saying emphatically that he did not attend his father's funeral.

This comment has nothing to do with the article... Talk about "what goes round, comes round." Unmarked grave, disowned by his family. Wow. That is a sad cautionary tale for any aspiring father. Be careful what you ask for. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.194.39.86 (talk) 00:29, 24 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

divorce

edit

That happened in 1966, per what is already written in the body of the article. Hence the reason I changed the dates in the marriage in the box. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 15.251.169.69 (talk) 19:08, 9 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
