Sourced???
editId like to point out that this is the first wiki article that i've seen that does not have a single citation. Anyone able to source any of the info would be a great help, thanks.68.229.51.187 (talk) 22:13, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Request
editMy expansion of the article with sources has been reverted by User_talk:Dougweller with the edit summary of (Para phrasing) and much of the article has come from this site. Keeping in view the biographical nature of the article and WP:Close paraphrasing, it is requested to have a look on the article so that its concerns may be addressed. For this I‘ve reverted the edits. MehrajMir ' (Talk) 04:21, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
- I‘ve made the necessary changes in the text of the article and checked through this detector with the site in question and it indicates a quote by Khabbab and the verse of Quran and some phrases, which are not the issue of copyvio. MehrajMir ' (Talk) 09:43, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
- As nothing has happened here, therefore removing (paraphrasing template) from the article and closing here as well. MehrajMir ' (Talk) 13:26, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
- This was still listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2012 August 8. I checked it over and while still very borderline, it is no longer to the point of copyright violation. I did, however, rephrase one half of a sentence which was a direct copy/paste from the source:
- The Prophet then cast his tender eyes over the battlefield on which lay the dead companions of Musab
- This would have been necessary in any case because the style and tone are very unencyclopedic. The article in general still needs considerable copyediting in this respect. Voceditenore (talk) 14:41, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
