Legacy Omega-level mutants list

edit

Here is the legacy list of example Omega-level powers and mutants preserved for posterity as of this revision (with a corrected issue reference per the previous comment and main text):

Some abilities depicted by mutants described as Omega-level include immortality, reality warping, highly destructive energy projection, extreme manipulation of matter, energy, time and space, high psionic ability with strong telepathy and telekinesis, and the potential to exist beyond the boundaries of the known physical universe. No firm definition has been offered in comics. Examples of mutants that have been confirmed as Omega-level include Franklin Richards,[1] Jean Grey,[2] Hyperstorm, Nate Grey, Stryfe, Mister M, Exodus, Quentin Quire,[3] Vulcan,[4] Rachel Summers,[5] Iceman,[6] Proteus, Legion,[7] Elixir[8], Storm,[9] and Psylocke.[10]

The official definition is now provided by Marvel in House of X #1 along with all the known Omega-level mutants and which power is Omega-level. -2pou (talk) 22:00, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Change [...] House of X relaunch: Jamie Braddock, Iceman, Elixir,  Jean Grey, Legion,  Magneto Proteus,  Mister M, [...] to:
[...] House of X relaunch: Jamie Braddock, Iceman, Elixir, Jean Grey, Legion, Magneto, Proteus, Mister M, [...] to trim unnecessary whitespace and add a comma between two separate characters (Magneto and Proteus). —MoltonMontro (talk) 18:33, 11 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Done. Comma added, but extra spaces in between words do not render and are irrelevant. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 01:30, 12 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Earlier publishing of Mutant

edit

The Mule, one of the most memorable antagonists from Issac Asimov's Foundation and Empire, published in 1952, the second book in one of the biggest selling and most famous sci-fi series of all time.

There should be at least some reference to this source in this article, since it is from a decade earlier and was very widely read. Adsmalley (talk) 00:20, 16 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

For what it's worth, in response to this comment from two years ago, this content is included at Mutants in fiction#Literature, of which this page is technically a subpage using WP:Summary style. -2pou (talk) 18:25, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Change “clam” to “claim” in [Mutant Subspecies]/[Dominant Species/Lupine]

Omega-level mutants

edit

Since I can't edit this article as it is semi-protected, I would be helpful if someone remove Omega-level mutants section of this page and add Template:Main towards Omega-level mutants, the article which has been reviewed and created from Draft:Omega-level mutants.
