Presumably Gable got the award; why are Laughton and Tone mentioned? If they are male and female supporting nominees, it needs to be said explicitly, even if we don't have articles for those categories. --Jerzy(t) 18:13, 2004 Apr 19 (UTC)
Another 26 pages where Mutiny on the Bounty has to be disambiguated. I wonder if this move was really necessary: There doesn't seem to be an article on the historical facts. <KF> 23:16, 20 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- all the pages moved (which should point to the fictional page) the MotB page now points to the a page of historical facts. Philip Baird Shearer 22:18, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Two new articles for the 1935 and 1962 movie versions have been created, and information from this article has been pasted in to them. All the links that refer to one or the other movie specifically have been moved to these pages. Links that speak of the novel (which should really have its own page too) or the general fictional treatment of the subject still link here.)Ionesco 19:04, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:MutinyOnTheBounty.jpg
editImage:MutinyOnTheBounty.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:21, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

"The Bounty"
editI removed a reference to the film "The Bounty" as a screen adaptation of this novel; it is a screen adaptation of a novel, but not this one. The article about that film does correctly state its origins. Merenta (talk) 22:20, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
