"After gaining affection for the British Invasion, Bacharach began working hands-on with beat groups of the era such as the Manfred Mann." The article isn't part of their name, so I'd just call them "Manfred Mann," not "the Manfred Mann." My main question with that sentence, though is that while it says "beat groups of the era such as the Manfred Mann," I can't think of any other beat groups with whom he worked hands-on. It's my understanding that he wasn't particularly interested in rock groups at the time and Manfred Mann was the only one he worked with, and that he didn't really enjoy the experience.96.232.48.167 (talk) 22:55, 29 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
