Free-standing or merge?
editThe quesiton has been mooted whether this article should be free standing or merge with the article on the temple. I favour keeping it free-standing. The site is a complicated one, more than most, and the general reader (and visitor) will want to be guided through the place without getting overwhelmed by the ammount of things to see and understand. The dozens and dozens of inscriptions all clustered together are unique and easily bewildering. I'm planning to add further inscriptions here in the coming days: this would make the main article clutered. Those who want to dive deep can do so, those who want to keep to the overall picture can stay with the main article. In the main article, by the way, I have yet to give a general guide to the iconography, and hopt to add that fairly soon. Shirazibustan (talk) 19:15, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
Feedback from New Page Review process
editI left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Thanks for your work on improving our content on the Nīlakaṇṭheśvara temple. However, the main page is still very small, so splitting content from it wasn't warranted. See WP:SPLIT for how and when to split a page.
