editI have to say - it makes little sense that two devices behind NAT could communicate - at least if nobody's forwarded any ports - without actually 'sending data through the supernode' as suggested in the text. I've added a citation-needed, and I'll probably remove it, or clarify. Overand (talk) 22:02, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
Why does it make little sense? UDP hole punching, STUN and ICE have been in use for a good while render it a relatively trivial process. The STUN/ICE server is used to resolve the two external address and setup the translation states and the two hosts are left to get on with it. It is however certainly not something unique to n2n. --82.26.125.76 (talk) 19:58, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on N2n. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20110924083045/http://www.ntop.org:80/products/n2n/ to http://www.ntop.org/products/n2n/
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
